Shirley Chase has over 25 years of experience in the practice of law. She is a native of Minnesota and attended the University of Minnesota and William Mitchell College of Law, where she graduated with honors. Previously, Ms. Chase served as General Counsel and President of EduServ Technologies, as Counsel for ITT Commercial Finance and as Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry.

Ms. Chase practices in the areas of employment law, business law, contract law, and commercial and residential real estate.

Ms. Chase's experience includes successfully representing clients in difficult employment situations and in hearings and mediations before state and federal agencies, including matters involving discrimination, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Minnesota Human Rights Act, defamation, covenants not to compete, and various other employment claims.

Ms Chase also has wide experience in commercial and residential real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, financings, construction and leasing.

Her business law background includes organizing businesses and drafting a wide variety of business contracts, including vendor, supplier and customer contracts.
